New Steering Committee President

Anu Sahai, Principal of Anew Capital Management, has been selected to head the Steering Committee for InHedge for 2009-2010 term. She brings 15+ years of investment experience globally as well as in India. "I am excited about developing InHedge as an active forum for investment professionals to discuss and share thoughts/issues on India", Anu says.
Anu Sahai is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of the Anew India Opportunity Fund, an opportunistic long /short India focused fund that invests primarily in equity and convertible securities. She was selected as one of the Top 20 Rising Hedge Fund Stars of 2008 by Institutional Investor.
Prior to that she was the Portfolio Manager of the Convertible portfolios at ING Investment Management for almost five years. In the years earlier at ING she served various analytical and portfolio management roles in equities, high yield and convertibles across portfolios ranging from $200 million to $2 billion in size
